No, but 'small fry' is a pretty good answer.
The correct answer is "fingerling," presumably based on the size of a baby trout, the length of one's finger. I only know this cus i once worked for a non profit who, as a fundraiser, would sell trout fingerlings to all the homeowners around here with lakes or streams on their property. Boyscouts would do release into local streams, too. We bought them from a fish hatchery in upstate NY, and all it would be was 2 guys in a pickup truck with 2 large tanks rigged up in the back. Customers would come and pick up their orders...live...and happily help propogate the species.
